The memories a mother leaves are cherished forever, and this Mother’s Day we want to celebrate all mothers and the precious memories we hold so dear. To stand a chance to win an amazing Tessa’s Bakery High Tea, simply enter our Mother’s Day Momories Competition.
Tessa’s invites participants to submit a vintage photograph of their mom with themselves and their best memories of their mom.
The Contest will consist of four Phases:
During Phase 1, which will run from 21st April 2017 through to 28th April 2017 (“Entry Period”), Participants will have the opportunity to submit a vintage photograph of their mother with themselves together with their best memories of mom for consideration in the Tessa’s Momeries Contest.
During Phase 2, which will run from 29th April 2017 through to 30th April 2017 (“Scoring Period”), each Entry will be scored by a panel of judges at Tessa’s Bakery and the ten (10) top-scoring entries (“Finalists”) will move on to Phase 3. Up to a maximum of ten (10) top-scoring entries will be declared Finalists (each such person a “Finalist”).
During Phase 3, which will run from 1st May 2017 through to 10th May 2017 (“Community Voting Period”), the ten (10) Finalists will have their Entry displayed on Tessa’s Bakery Facebook and Instagram pages and members of the online community will be given the opportunity to vote (by liking their post) for the Finalist of their choice. The results of the Community Voting Period will be tabulated and the Finalist with the highest number of likes will be declared the potential Grand Prize winner. The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified on or about 11th May 2017.
PHASE 1 – HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, Participants must go to https://www.facebook.com/TessasBakery/photos/a.184876348284264.34743.183138115124754/1109474485824441/?type=3&theater (“Competition Post”) and post their image submission and memories under the Competition Post, or tag @tessas_bakery on their photo submission on Instagram together with the hashtag #tessasmomeries (you must have a public Instagram account to enter this contest via Instagram).
By submitting a photograph, a participant hereby acknowledges that they own or have secured all rights to use and publish the Photograph and grants Tessa’s Bakery permission to use the image on their Social Media pages. An entrant may be required to provide a release to Tessa’s for the submitted Photograph, at their sole discretion.
SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT, AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION, TO REMOVE ANY ENTRY POSTED TO THE WEBSITE THAT THE SPONSOR FEELS IS INAPPROPRIATE, OBJECTIONABLE AND/OR INCONSISTENT WITH THE POSITIVE IMAGE AND/OR GOOD WILL IT WISHES TO PROMOTE IN THIS CONTEST. IF ENTRY IS REMOVED FROM THE WEBSITE BY SPONSOR, ENTRY IS AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED.
ALL ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ALL ENTRY MATERIALS SUBMITTED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTEST ARE SUBMITTED ON A NON-CONFIDENTIAL AND NON-PROPRIETARY BASIS AND MAY BE USED BY TESSA’S, ITS AGENTS AND SUBSIDIARIES, FOR ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) IN CONNECTION WITH THE ONLINE COMMUNITY VOTING DESCRIBED BELOW.
PHASE 2 – SCORING PERIOD: During the Scoring Period, all eligible entries will be judged by a panel of judges at Tessa’s. Judging will be performed by a panel of judges selected by Tessa’s in its sole discretion. The ten (10) top-scoring entries (“Finalists”) will be declared Finalists and will move on to Phase 3. Up to a maximum of ten (10) as determined by Sponsor, top-scoring entries will be declared Finalists (each such person a “Finalist”). Decision of judges is final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. Finalists will be determined on or about 30th April 2017.
PHASE 3 – COMMUNITY VOTING PERIOD: Entries for the ten (10) Finalists will appear on Tessa’s Facebook and Instagram pages during the Community Voting Period. During the Community Voting Period, members of the online community (including Finalists) may vote for the Finalist of their choice by liking the entry post. All votes must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on 10th May 2017 in order to be valid.
PHASE 4 – WINNER DETERMINATION & NOTIFICATION: The results of the Community Voting Period will be tabulated on or about 11th May 2017 and The Finalist whose entry receives the highest number of votes will be determined the potential Grand Prize winner. The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified on or about 11th May 2017 by email and/or telephone using the contact information provided.
PRIZES: Grand prize consists of High Tea cake, cupcakes and treats to be collected at the bakery on Saturday 13th May 2017.
